20 Years of Usenet resurfacing

Hooray! Google has ressurected the Usenet database archives. This historical database goes back to the start of Usenet in 1981 and contains over 700 million posts. They have even gone so far as to single out some important historical posts, such as Linus Torvald’s first message about the Linux project, first mention of Microsoft (May 1981) and the first mention of AIDS (Dec 182) plus much more.
