Unbelievable!
THere actually is someone at the FCC who has an inkling of vision. Michael Copps, the FCC Commissioner stated this week that the government should support broadband buildout and that while he saw the private sector as being the main driving force (uh oh I smell a sell out to the RBOCs coming) that nevertheless the government would have to get involved for that percentage of the population that is outside the reach of private industry. [sarcasm] I’m sure that Michael Powell will make him see the error of his ways and give the RBOCs aeverything they want.[/sarcasm] See this article in America’s Network
