Apparantly the US Federal Elections Commission is seriously pursuing a plan to limit what bloggers can do to support a party or candidate during an election. Even linking to a candidate’s website could be seen as providing financial aid to that candidate (free advertising) and thus qualify as a violation under the McCain-Feingold law. [...]
