Oh my!
I must confess to being somewhat amused by all the huffing and puffing going on by every side of the political spectrum over the Gomery Pyle inquiry into the Liberal Ad scandal. The Conservatives are going - see they’re a bunch of crooks - the Liberals are doing the - it was only as few bad apples - routine, American bloggers are publishing the details Canadian reporters are banned from publishing and that too is causing an uproar (I’m particularly amused by the Canadian bloggers who are telling the yanks to mind their own business, hmmmm, seems to me Canadian bloggers talk about American affairs all the time). My, my, much ado about nothing really. Sure the Liberals bribed people and funneled public funds back into Liberal coffers. Ho hum, business as usual folks. These are politicians for cripes sakes! Do any of you think the Conservates, the NDP or any other politician or political party would be, or in the case of the Conservatives when they were last in power have been, any fucking different. You do? Wow talk about naivety. The only thing different this time was the liberals were sloppy, that’s all.

Right on Doug! And a mighty hear hear! I went and checked out that Captain’s Quarters site last week and it was a whole lot of “yeah we already knew that… yawn” They all gorge at the trough and when they ain’t gorging on it they have political feed bags strapped to their faces. The only excitement we can hope from any of this is the Mafia connection. Just who did the evil cappos “Jean ‘The Gorger’ Chretien,” and “Paul Martini” have whacked? Although chances are good that will probably end up to be dull as ditch water as well.
