No one wants their last words to be "Oh my God! The old gypsy woman was right..."

So So sad Permalink this Drivel Similar Drivel: Blogging, Political

This past weekend a life that meant so much to so many bloggers came to a sudden, tragic, early end. Michelle Goodrich, known to the web as Mandarin Meg died. “Meg” did more for the average blogger and site designer than any of the A listers and other self promotinng circle jerkers combined ever have. Meg poured out her heart into helping people understand CSS and design elements. I did not know her well but the few interactions I did have with her were ones in which she really tried to help. The loss will affect us all. I hope wherever you are Michelle that you have finally found the peace you needed.

She was one of a kind. She touched us all in one way or another. I’m glad you remembered her here Doug. I’d like us to gather virtually some time in a month or two and memorialize her properly online. I hope you can be there.
