Well this is my first post from the new laptop and to add to the firsts I’m using a wireless network for the first time asI’m over at Diane’s and forgot to bring extra CAT5 cable with me - forget it I don’t need it (thankfully I had the 26 digit WEP key written down elsewhere 
)
What a piece of crap the Windows firewall is that ships with XP Pro. I forgot to turn it off while installing Zone Alarm and it crashed the system big time. Now the fun begins trying to transfer all my stuff over from the old 98SE box. I still haven’t got that other new toy the external USB hard drive working with the 98 box. I installed a USB 2.0 card with drivers and while I can see the USB devices in device manager I can not see the drive when I run fdisk, which I have to do as I need to format it to FAT32 before Win98 will see it a a hard drive and assign a drive icon to it. Oh well I have a friend out here in Salmo who is a very good tech, knows these devices well, and has set them up on Win98 before and he says he can get it formatted and working for me. Once that happens it will be a piece of cake moving data.
I also ordered a new copy of Paint Shop Pro X today as all I have is PSP 6 and I don’t have the key anymore (lost in move from last company to new company).
