Tesla Roadster
As of just a couple of minutes ago Tesla Motors has unveiled their two seater roadster. Well you say what is so special about that , never heard of them. Well it’s a zero emission car. Lithium-Iion batteries (6,831 of them to be exact) . It goes from 0 to 60mps in 4 seconds, has a top speed of 135mph, gets 250 miles per charge with an average cost of $0.01 per mile and an equivalency rating of 135mpg.
You may have trouble geting to the site right away as it appears there were a tremendous number of people waiting for the midnight PDT unveiling on the website and it is loading very slowly. Expected asking price is between $80K and $120K; cheap for one of the fastest production cars in the world.
