So that’s what’s missing
It just struck me that I’ve never known any one named Shirley. Now that may not strike you as anything of importance as I’m sure there are thousands of names I’ve never known, but not knowing someone named Shirley has deprived me of the opportunity to say “Shirley, you jest” and not get the usual response
