Time to get out
Canada has lost 32 troops and one diplomat in Afghanistan and that is 33 Canadians too many especially in a conflict that can not be won. If this was a peace keeping mission a la Lester Pearson’s concept of peace keeping I would be all for staying and helping the two sides find some accord. But starting with the Liberals and accelerating greatly withConservatives the Canadian Armed Forces have abandoned the role of peacekeepers, a role that won them and Canada great respect around the world, from both sides of a conflict, and have now devolved into a defective clone of the US Armed Forces and more traitorously implements of US foreign policy, bent on fighting not peacekeeping. The Conservatives have shamed Canada and our history. Support our troops, bring them home.
