8 September, 2006 (16:21) | Miscellaneous

POUTINE OR THE TELEPHONE? THE SNOW BLOWER OR INSULIN?

CBC Television invites Canadians to vote at www.cbc.ca/inventions for The Greatest Canadian Invention.

Whether you prefer a lifesaver like the pacemaker, a culinary delight like instant mashed potatoes, or the revolutionary push-up bra, everyone has a favourite. Canada has a stellar history of world renowned inventions.

But, does one of them stand out as the best Canadian invention ever? Which one can’t we live without? That’s the question CBC Television is asking in The Greatest Canadian Invention. Go to www.cbc.ca/inventions and make your vote count before September 28, 2006.
