Seen this a number of times and I *think* (if I recall correctly) there was scent-attractant being used and it apparently triggered the buck’s aggression-reflex. He thought the human was another male deer competing for the (obviously very-aroused because of the amount of scent) female. Gotta watch it when you play with pheromones, it’s not NICE to fool Mother Nature. Heh heh. Scary to watch and I’ll bet he had some spectacular bruises at LEAST… those hooves can be SHARP too! Luck he didn’t take a shot in the head, that’d be all she wrote…
