Assume you could invent something – just one thing – in the coming year, what would it be?

Well being the unrepentant anarchist that I am here’s two

1. Device: I want a small remote control device that when pointed at a car will cause all electronic components in the car to overload and basically fry.

   Use When a “Boom Box” car pulls up beside you and is blasting your eardrums with music so loud you go into an instant rage (because you could hear it coming from 2km away) , get even. Point this at the car and the asshole’s $10,000 annoyance system will fry beyond repair.

   Benefits Peace of mind and Asshole Revenge

2. Device A “P” chip mandated for all television sets. Like the ‘V” chip which prevents adult rated cvontent from being shown on a TV with the chip enabled, the “P” chip would analyze a politicians words and tell you if he or she is lying by growing the politician’s nose to enormous lengths, or whether they are just being incredibly obtuse or stupid by superimposing a jackasses head on theirs.
   Use – obvious

   Benefit General amusement watching politicians race to be the first to actually make speech that would not trigger this chip, and fail every time
