Have I mentioned I hate moving? Well tomorrow we sign the last of the papers (god I hate lawyers, at least the ones I have had to deal with) and then take possession of the house on Wednesday at noon. Then the real fun begins. Wednesday I’ll be hauling stuff from here (I sure hope the truck I rented has good brakes - the Rossland/Trail hill ranges from a 10% grade to a >12% going into a hairpin corner at the bottom (Waterhole for those who know the area) then more 10% after leaving Warfield.) You drop 2000 meters in 6 KM (3.7 miles) out to Diane’s. Then pack her stuff and Thursday noon get the truck to the house and start unloading -even though it’s a 16 foot box van It’s likely to require more than one trip to her place. ugh!

In the months before we last moved house we had an iron rule :- Every time you go to the cellar and/or attic, you are not allowed back until you have thrown something away!
That makes the moving-load somewhat easier. Sheesh the crap we accumulate! Back to the orange robe, close haircut and a food bowl, eh!
