Military tried to cover up file on outspoken critic
Regular readers here will note I’ve said numerous times that I think should be used for duties only. Indeed I would not be the least sorry to see the military completely disbanded and their resources put to better use by the coast guard. Under the Harper “wannabe” government the military found a friend all too willing to let them go out and kill people. The attitude inculcates in the military is one of Cheney style secrecy (for Gawd’s sake they are trying to hide information on where the infamous operated in WWII under the guise of National Security - crikey that’s dumb) and now they are actively spying on Canadian citizens who are actively protesting Canada’s role in Afghanistan.
This government has destroyed the of peacekeeping. The Armed Forces ads on TV are now all about the excitement of war. It is a sick and perverted entity now. We should have learned our lesson in . I am ashamed of this government and our military command, they are a to the Canadian flag.
