Scary stuff

Does the leadership have a plan in place to stay in office indefinitely and even worse keep Bush in office indefinitely? In May of this year GW Bush issued . Under this directive the president has the power to if the country is in a state of catastrophic emergency. is ill defined in this case.

any incident, regardless of location, that results in extraordinary levels of mass casualties, damage, or disruption severely affecting the U.S. population, infrastructure, environment, economy, or government functions.

There’s a lot of latitude there.

Much has been written on this topic such as here

Today I was following a bunch of links and ended up at this site (sorry don’t remember how I got there) and what’s written there is truly scary. I don’t much go in for conspiracy theories except for laughs, but this person has done his homework and what he reveals raises the truly frightening possibility of the Bush administration unleashing a nuclear bomb on an American city in order to give it an excuse, justifiable in international eyes, to launch a against Iran and also to put the US under martial law and prevent the 2008 elections from going forward.

This all revolves around the supposed mistaken flight last month of B-52H Stratofortress that flew from Minot AFB in ND to Barksdale AFB in LA carrying twelve cruise missiles. The official story is that five of those missiles were carrying live , but sources at Minot AFB say that six of them were and only five were accounted for at Barksdale.

The author of this piece clearly lays out the security precautions that occur with these missiles leaving one with the certain knowledge that such a mistake is impossible. If such is the case and there is a missing nuke then what is the purpose of it having gone missing?

Do I think that the // crowd are above doing such a horrific deed. No. They are quite capable of it. They are power thirsty and don’t give two shits about anyone that is not on board with them in their quest for power. Do I think they are going to do this? No, but I won’t be surprised of they do.

I think the time is coming for another . For once I’m glad the NRA has been so active in protecting the as I fear the time is coming when the will need to take up those arms and seize control of their government once more and return it to a government for the people and by the people, not a government of corporatists. You can not win this back via the . That system is totally gamed.

This is a common error. It’s not at all unusual for heavily armed countries to experience prolonged totalitarian rule. It’s called “falangism,” and it is the slow-burn, decentralizing parallel to fascism. Please be aware that NRA supporters, almost to a man, are more “bushist” than Bush. If the NRA membership had its way, any such massive civil war that you describe would consist of a Rwanda-style holocaust of liberals or minorities.
