As if!
Aargh it appears that I’ve been , Not certain yet if it’s a mortal blow or not that remains to be seen (just remember Frank “revenge is a puddin’ best et cold”) but apparently I’m supposed to reveal seven deep dark hidden secrets about myself. Go read the title of this post again. Hah!
- Up the street and around the corner from where I lived as a kid was an exiled Russian count and his beautiful daughter Marguerite N. Marguerite had never cut her hair and we always tried to convince her to let it down. Occasionally she did, it was very, very long. When we were in grade school together we still had, and used, those temptation inducing ink wells. Marguerite sat in front of me one year. You figure the rest out
- Marguerite’s father, you know the exiled Russian count, had the most amazingly delicious golden plums growing in his back yard. I have a life long craving and appreciation of golden plums thanks to her father’s unwitting generosity
- I have always been a cynic
- If you ever need anything fixed around your home, don’t call me you’ll regret it. Mr. Handyman I’m not.
- If I can ever retire (not likely) I’ll spend my retirement cooking and baking and maybe doing a bit of traveling
- I have no idea why I blog
- If I told you this one I’d have to kill you
I’ll spare the few Internet friends I have left the embarrassment of doing this or the effort to refuse it and stop this thread here. ![]()

Now that wasn’t so difficult, was it?
