Remember This: 350 Parts Per Million

1 January, 2008 (22:13) | Environment

writing at the WP has a scary post. He references , the NASA scientist who two decades ago, raised the global warming alarm to congress and in doing so pretty much destroyed his career. This summer Hansen, at a conference in San Francisco, announced that the goals of CO2 that were being set at Kyoto, Bali and elsewhere on were not sufficient and that in fact is where we need to be at the most. He has the data to back it up too it seems. The bad news is that we are already, at , past that point and the runaway processes have already started.
