Slip Sliding Away

There is a reasonable chance with at the helm of the Democratic party in November that the GOP may be able to actually win. Everyone who considers voting for her will know that it is really a two person presidency ’cause Bill is not going to be no “First Gentleman” and that is not going to sit well with a lot of people, especially those who take the 22nd amendment seriously.

For sure the GOP is in shambles but I think in the end will get the nod and will be his running mate. That gets all the real loony birds out of the race and leaves a far smaller target for the Democrats to go after than if it were someone like Huckabee or Guiliani. The right wing, however, is going to have a field day with the Clintons, there’s just too much history there regardless of its worth. Like Michael Dukakis’ 1988 Willie Horton moment or 2000’s Swift Boating of John Kerry the truth of the allegations is completely irrelevant it’s the momentum they get that is.

To bring it all home, consider how effective MoveOn.Org has been with limited funds and a conservative bias in the media that prevented MoveOn at times from getting their ads out the way they want them. Now consider Freedom’s Watch the GOP answer to MoveOn

Wes Boyd, who co-founded with his wife in their home in Berkeley, Calif., said the two groups are fundamentally different because his liberal organization was set up outside the influence of Democratic Party operatives and is funded primarily by small-dollar donors around the country.

, on the other hand, is “doing attack ads by , financed by billionaires, at the request of the White House,” Boyd said by e-mail. “MoveOn helps millions of real people get engaged and be heard and is solely funded by these same people.”

The is revving up the and no one does it better than them. November is not going to be a cake walk for any Democrat more so for the .

If the DNC chooses Hillary as the candidate, I’m going to vote Republican. The Dem leadership needs to learn to LISTEN to it’s BASE. If they run her, we’ll LOSE… and I think we’ll need to lose BADLY so they’ll GET IT. Maybe four (or eight!!) more years of being on the bottom will make them wake the #($*@ up.
