For nigh on 50 years have formed an extremely powerful political force in Florida. Today I read this headline “Miami subdued over news” in the LA Times and the first thought that ran through my head was “No kidding, there goes the power base”.

The closer it gets the less power the exiles will have as a group, they will simply become just another part of the overall US Latino bloc. The only cause they will have left is an attempt to get their property back - no way that’s going to happen.
