Miami subdued

20 February, 2008 (21:03) | Political

For nigh on 50 years have formed an extremely powerful political force in Florida. Today I read this headline “Miami subdued over news” in the LA Times and the first thought that ran through my head was “No kidding, there goes the power base”.

it turns out is quite a bit more liberal than his older brother. Cuba will, with Fidel gone, slowly move closer to . The closer it gets the less power the exiles will have as a group, they will simply become just another part of the overall US Latino bloc. The only cause they will have left is an attempt to get their property back - no way that’s going to happen.

Subdued? I bet, the writing is on the wall for all to see.

Give me a little link love would ya ;):
