Smoke on the Water
In the category classic ’s should always be near the top. It has echoed through cultures across the globe with the driving phrase ba ba baaaa babaa baba ba ba baaaa baba ba.
Here’s a traditional Japanese music ensemble (with orchestral backup) doing it their way
Here’s Deep Purple (revamped after final split with the band in ‘93) doing it live back in the mid 90’s with a smokin’ guitar solo by (formerly of the Dixie Dregs) who replaced Blackmore permanently.
Oh and for those who think smoke on the water refers to the smoke in a bong - nope, it refers to the fire that burned down a casino in Montreaux where they were going to record but the night before there was a Frank Zappa concert in the casino and an audience member fired a flare gun into the ceiling and burned the place down.
