Damn good question
The editorial board of the poses the type of question to that we can only wish more people who call themselves journalists, would.
“Throughout your adult life, am I right, as a veteran and a member of Congress and now someone over sixty five, throughout your adult life have you been covered by a taxpayer-financed plan?”
His answer was, as always, a non answer.

Normally, as you know, I have nothing but contempt for pretty much every politician (albeit tempered somewhat in the case of Obama but only because he’s your best hope) but McCain just scares the beejeezus out of me - he’s irrational, not very smart, and has a hair trigger temper. I wouldn’t hesitate a second to say that he’s every bit as much a fucking lunatic as Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, if not more so. Add Palin into the mix and everyone is fucking doomed if McCain gets elected, she’s even dumber than he is.
