Too Little Too Late
There is only 8 more days left until the here in and although it is heartening to see the popularity starting to nosedive it’s too little too late. It’s entirely likely that we will end up with a neocon Conservative majority government under Harper.

The latest poll by The Canadian Press Harris-Decima put Tory support at a new low - 32 per cent. However, that’s still seven points ahead of the Liberals, who crept up to 25 per cent.
With just eight days until voting day on Oct. 14, the NDP was at 21 per cent and the Greens at 12.
The good news is that the are soaring compared to the past

and that can be mostly attributed to getting Elizabeth May into the televised debate. I’m hoping they will find a riding or two that they can win. At that point the other parties will not be able to keep the Greens out of the debates again.
I don’t doubt Harper called this snap election in order to get it in ahead of the US because it looks like the Americans are going to give the GOP, who Harper just loves to emulate, a very sound thrashing come November and that would draw too much attention to his own failed policies and man love for Bush
