John Holdren speaks about Global Climate Disruption
During the Bush era, soon to be over, science was given short shrift. Hell it was consigned to the dungeon unless it backed up (unlikely) something Bush or his handlers wanted it to. No more. Obama has chosen John Holdren as his Assistant to the President for Science and Technology, Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, and Co-Chair of the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology., and he has some very interesting things to say. Starting with identifying global warming as what it really is global climate disruption. I like that term better than global climate change – it is far more descriptive of the looming catastrophe.
Here is a speech on the matter he gave last year at the American Response to Climate Change Conference at the Wild Center in upstate NY. This is their video and their copyright please honor that by giving them full accreditation.
