Lesson Time

CBC – Transportation Minister Shirley Bond made no apologies for spending the cash to promote the stimulus project in the U.S., saying the province uses four suppliers for signs, three of which are from B.C.

“There is a competitive bidding process and sometimes we go outside of British Columbia and outside of Canada. That is part of the process of finding the best value for dollars,” said Bond.

Good grief Charlie Brown why do we keep electing such fucking stupid politicians. Hey Shirley, Econ 101: Money spent outside of the economic district is not recycled within that district. Mo0ney you spend in the US does nothing whatsoever to help the BC economy. That money is gone for good and does not recycle itself throughout the BC economy. Resign Shirley you are too fucking stupid, or too fucking dishonest, to have that job.
