Well I got this blog working finally - woo hoo - been coding joke pages like crazy - finally decided awhile back that all those jokes I've been collecting for the last 5 years or so should either be deleted or posted - so I chose the latter and given my current state of downsized employment I appear to have the time on hand to accomplish this task. Counted up the jokles I had saved the other day - came to over a 1000. Currently there's about 800 of them on this site.

Got an email BCC'd from a friend in Phoenix today reaming out someone for sending him yet another virus hoax message. Guess this guy thought he was trying to "save the world" or something. You'd think by know that the message to check these things out before forwarding them to everyone they know would have sunk in...........but nooooooooooo....some people have just got to prove what losers they are. The only "virus" in those messages is the mesage itself and thoughtless twits like this guy fulfill the virus' mission when they forward it on to everyone thereby eating up bandwidth and helping to slow the net down. When I ran an ISP's tech support I had to be polite to idiots like that - today I'm only polite the first time they do it (presumption of innocence wins over the evidence of terminal stupidity and naivety) otherwise I just flame the bejeezus out of them and suggest none too kindly that they remove my address from their address book. If you, hapless reader, happen to be one of those persons who immediately forwards all those "end of he world" virus threats on to everyone in your address book - do everyone a favour go check it out at http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/hoax.html or at http://hoaxbusters.ciac.org first! Failing that please remove yourself from the gene pool.
