SonicBlue Won't Have to Monitor Viewing Habits

Marking a dramatic turnaround to a widely followed legal dispute, SonicBlue—the manufacturer of the ReplayTV 4040 video recording device—has been freed from a previous judge's ruling that would have required the company to track the viewing and recording habits of users. But even as SonicBlue celebrates the demise of the previous ruling, the company is still squaring off with powerful entertainment industry players over whether its devices allow consumers to infringe on copyrights. ...PC Magazine
Hey - I've got an eidetic memory; and have often quoted entire scenes from movies, TV shows, and so forth. I can also sing many songs, word-perfect, from beginning to end. Do I violate copyrights?
