The worst kind of lie is one that we the we the public readily accept and participate in. We do it because it makes our lives more comfortable. It keeps us from having to deal with the messes our lifestyles generate. It is how western civilization works right now. We pollute and rape he rest of the world for their resources. We instigate wars, assisinate politicians, foment revoution, play one side off against the other to keep the countries week so they cannot take control of their economies. We drive 3rd world countries into bankruptcy then impose burdensome conditions on them that guarantee they will never recover. All of this to keep our energy hungry, product consuming society running. We willing believe the lies we are told by politicians and Madison Ave. because we don't want to face the truth of our lives and our impact on planet earth. We give $10 bucks to Greenpeace the drive our SUV's , alone, 45 minutes to work and believe that we are ecologically conscientious. These are the very worst sort of lies.
